In Our Prayers this Week - We pray for our sister Cheryl Wood. We also lift up our brothers and sisters who are suffering from cancer, and all those whom we name in our hearts.
Contemporary Services - The contemporary service this month will be held on September 5th and 19th at 6:01pm.
Teachers Needed -We NEED Sunday School teachers for the Elementary aged kids as soon as possible! We are looking for multiple teachers to take turns leading the classes. We have the curriculum, resources, and enthusiastic kids. All we are missing is you! If you are interested in teaching Sunday School, please let Erin Rustan know!
Snack Shack - The Snack Shack concession stand is now open for business at our softball games. Adult and youth volunteers are needed to run the shop, please contact Erin Rustan if you are interested in helping.
GODtoberfest 2010 - GODtoberfest 2010, our church's largest outreach event of the year, will be held on October 9th. We are looking for vendors and sponsors who would like to be involved as well as volunteers and donations. Please see Lisa Holley for details.
N.E.E.D. - Please remember that food is needed all year long, not only at holiday times. If each family could contribute 1 canned good each week, that would be tremendous help. This Sunday is Toilet Paper Sunday, bring a roll of TP to donate! Check back to see what the next theme is for the N.E.E.D. challenge. Toiletry items and plastic grocery bags are also always in high demand.Please place your items in the basket in the Narthex and they will be delivered at the end of each month by Herb and Ima Ruth Jacoby. Melissa will be heading up to the facility to volunteer on Wednesdays from 10am-3pm, call her if you are interested in volunteering too! Contact her at 817-965-4340.
